The project aims to create a sleek, minimalist online platform for a modern gift shop that specializes in corporate gifting and personalized “everything gift” services. The design features a monochrome palette, offering a sophisticated and clean user interface that reflects professionalism while providing a seamless shopping experience for customers. With a focus on streamlined navigation and user-friendly functionality, this design appeals to both corporate clients and individual shoppers looking for unique, high-quality gifts.

Problem:

The existing gift shop lacked a cohesive design and user-friendly functionality, making it difficult for customers to browse and purchase gifts, especially in bulk for corporate clients. The challenge was to design a platform that streamlined the shopping experience, allowing for easy customization and bulk orders without compromising the elegance of the site.

Solution:

The solution was to create a minimalist, monochrome design that focuses on clear visuals, easy navigation, and a smooth shopping journey. The design was divided into two main sections: one for corporate clients looking to purchase in bulk and another for individual customers seeking personalized gifts.

Objectives:

The primary objective is to develop an intuitive e-commerce platform that enhances the shopping experience for corporate and individual customers. The design should convey elegance and simplicity, while allowing users to easily browse, select, and customize a wide range of gifts. Special emphasis is placed on creating a user-friendly flow for bulk corporate orders and personalizing gift selections with ease.

Scope of work:

  • Research: Conducted user research to understand the needs of both corporate and individual shoppers. Corporate clients valued quick order processing and customization, while individual customers prioritized personalization options and variety.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Created wireframes that focused on simplicity, ensuring that key functionalities like browsing, customization, and checkout were easy to access.
  • UI Design: Developed a monochrome interface that aligned with the brand’s high-end, professional image. The design used clean lines, ample white space, and subtle accents to highlight key elements without overwhelming the user.
  • User Testing: Tested the platform with a small group of corporate and individual users to identify potential pain points, such as customizing bulk orders and navigating the product categories.
